Country Music shined brightly at last night's Grammy Awards. Taylor Swift was the biggest winner of the night, taking home four trophies, including Album Of The Year.
The Zac Brown Band won the Best New Artist trophy. "There are so many people that we want to thank and it's such an honor to be on the stage, and then to be shared in this big amalgam of music here," lead singer Zac said at the podium. "We're so honored and blessed to be here and looking forward to playing for you all in a little bit. Thank you so much."
Lady Antebellum performed a moving version of their song, "Need You Now" and then capped off their evening by taking home the Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for "I Run To You."
Keith Urban took home his third Grammy, for Best Male Country Vocal Performance on his song, "Sweet Thing."
Randy Travis and Carrie Underwood took home the Best Country Collaboration with Vocals for their pleading duet, "I Told You So." CArrie also took part in the Michael Jackson tribute, "Earth Song," which also featured Usher, Celine Dion, and Jennifer Hudson. Of the win, Randy Travis said, "This is the first time that I was not able to be on hand to accept a Grammy. A BIG thank you to Carrie for asking me to be part of this recording. She is an amazing talent and I am honored to win this with her."
Steve Wariner took home his fourth trophy, for his song "Producer's Medley," which won Best Country Instrumental Performance.
Jennifer Nettles joined Bon Jovi for a duet of "Who Says You Can't Go Home," and Bon Jovi's hit, "Living On A Prayer."
Congratulations to all the country winner and nominees.

Its great to see country music being represented in such a positive way. Congratulations to all of the winners. Something tells me that this is just the start of many more future Grammy wins for Lady Antebellum.

I'm continued to be amazed at CW near neglect of Taylor Swift. A major achievement of 4 grammys including the coveted album of the year and you give her 1 sentence. Zac Brown, who I enjoy, gets 3 times the space and every other artist listed gets more space and attention than Taylor.
