Video Exclusive: Dierks Bentley Previews Dark, Funny Single “Drunk on a Plane”

Dierks Bentley’s new single is the bitter, hilarious “Drunk on a Plane,” about a poor guy who loses his lady and decides to break bad on the honeymoon trip they were supposed to take. It’s a righteously angry anthem that should probably get lots of cups in the air when he plays it for crowds this year.

“I knew when I wrote it, it would go over great live,” says Dierks in the exclusive video above. “It’s a funny song, but there’s an undercurrent of darkness.”

“Drunk on a Plane” is on Dierks’ new album, Riser, which is hitting cruising altitude after the single “I Hold On” recently hit No. 1.
