Keith Urban and Vince Gill: Talking the Hall

We’re All for the Hall concert raises nearly $650,000 for Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Keith Urban jokes that “the polka theme just didn’t take” for the We’re All for the Hall 2013 benefit concert in Nashville, held April 16. The real theme, “Rebels and Renegades,” certainly worked out much better.

In this video for Country Weekly, taped during rehearsal, Keith and co-host Vince Gill talk about the recent show, the fourth the two have co-hosted, which raised money for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. The concert featured outlaw-style acts such as Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Hank Williams Jr., Trace Adkins and one of country's original rebels, Willie Nelson.

We’re All for the Hall 2013 netted nearly $650,000, bringing the four-year total to more than $2 million raised for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The funds help support the educational efforts of the Hall as well as the continuing care of its collection. “We also raise awareness of the Hall of Fame, which is the thing that often gets overlooked,” Keith says.
