No, Country Weekly isn’t becoming the newest pop music magazine, but like many country artists, we too are fans of pop star Katy Perry.

And, of course, we’re fans of country music’s sassy Kacey Musgraves, so the two coming together is a good reason for us to tune in to CMT tonight for their special episode of Crossroads.

Shot in April in Los Angeles, the pair each belt out their own fan favorites and also do a couple of unexpected covers, like Kacey singing Dolly Parton’s “Here You Come Again” and Katy singing Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me.”

But check out the pairing on Kacey’s “Merry Go ’Round” and Katy’s “Roar” below for an idea of what happens when they sing together.

Kacey joins up with Katy’s Prismatic World Tour starting June 22 in Raleigh, N.C. Are you going?

CMT Crossroads airs at 10 p.m. ET . . . obviously on CMT!
