Rhean (it's pronounced like "wren") first met guitarist Marvin at Nashville's Belmont University, where both were working as security guards - both now joke that they wound up spending most of their time on duty writing songs in the squad car. Rhean already knew Jeremy from his church choir, having met him when he accidentally sat in Jeremy's assigned seat at practice.

The singer started wondering what would happen if he introduced his two friends - and one day in 1999 suggested the three meet at his house. The trio's chemistry was obvious right away, and they've been singing, playing and writing together ever since, taking their name from the first song they wrote together.

The group signed with Clint Black's record label, Equity Music Group, which plans to release their acoustic-based, harmony-laden debut album early next year.
