TIES THAT BIND
An emotional Wynonna Judd opens up to talk-show queen Oprah Winfrey about her weight probolem, DUI arrest -- and a hidden family secret
Wynonna Judd finally made time for the pain. For years, she's harbored bitterness over a long-held family secret and silently endured struggles with her weight. But recently Wynonna realized that she could no longer stare down those demons by herself. She needed help.

It didn't take long for Wy to cut loose. At the very beginning of the show, which aired in February, she revealed that her weight has never been higher. "I'm afraid of going another year and not doing something about it," she told Oprah.
Wy couldn't even admit that to her own mother, Naomi Judd. But she could tell Oprah - and there are plenty of reasons.
