With a bizarre video for their saucy new single, newcomer duo Big & Rich is turning country music on its ear.

A high-school marching band is leading a parade featuring a dwarf sporting a 10-gallon hat ... a 6-foot-5, 260-pound rap singer ... a harem girl with vampire teeth ... a towering majorette snapping a riding crop against a boot ... and dancing girls in sexy business suits.

A Halloween stunt? Would you believe a country video? If you're duo Big & Rich, it's just another day at the office.

"We're the leaders of the freak parade!" declares John Rich, who with partner "Big" Kenny gathered this carnival of characters for the making of their new video, "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)."

Taking a break from the shoot, the two are surprised that they've become one of the most-talked- about new acts in country music. Big Kenny and John never planned to invade country with a wild-eyed brand of music that bridges honky-tonk, hard rock and hip hop. But when Warner Bros. decided to give them a recording contract, the two music veterans decided to hold nothing back on their debut album, Horse of a Different Color.
