The three finalists for the Academy of Country Music’s fan-voted Top New Artist award are already winners.

Georgia-born Luke Bryan released his sophomore album, Doin’ My Thing, in October 2009, and it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The album includes his No. 1 single “Do I,” which he co-wrote with Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood. His current single, “Rain Is a Good Thing,” is climbing the charts. Luke is currently headlining his own dates as well as opening for Jason Aldean on the Wide Open Tour and is a featured act on Miranda Lambert’s spring tour. His previous hits include “All My Friends Say” and “Country Man” from his album I’ll Stay Me.

Joey + Rory

Husband-and-wife duo Joey + Rory (Joey Martin Feek and Rory Lee Feek) started performing as a duo when they decided to audition for CMT’s Can You Duet in early 2008. After ultimately finishing third in the competition, they released their debut album, The Life of a Song. The first single, “Cheater, Cheater,” was a Top 40 hit. The video for the song features Can You Duet judge Naomi Judd. As a songwriter, Rory co-penned Clay Walker’s “The Chain of Love” and Blake Shelton’s “Some Beach.” Joey + Rory will release their sophomore album, Album #2, this summer. They were recently part of Zac Brown Band’s Breaking Southern Ground Tour.

Gloriana is a vocal group featuring brothers Tom and Mike Gossin along with Rachel Reinert and Cheyenne Kimball. The foursome’s self-titled album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and No. 3 on Billboard’s all-genre Top 200 chart, and was the best-selling debut by a country group in 2009. It includes the hit single “Wild at Heart” as well as “How Far Do You Wanna Go?” Their current single, “The World Is Ours Tonight,” comes from the AT&T Team USA Soundtrack. The group, which won the fan-voted Breakthrough Artist award at the American Music Awards, is on tour with Taylor Swift.
