Tracy Lawrence Helps Feed the Hungry
Tracy Lawrence hosted his fourth annual “Tracy Lawrence Mission Possible Turkey Fry” at the Nashville Rescue Mission, Nov. 24, to help feed families in need.
Tracy was joined by several of his country star friends, including Lorrie Morgan, Darryl Worley, The Roys, Burns & Poe and Sarah Darling, who pitched in to cook more than 600 turkeys and greet fans during the day. Members of Tracy’s church and volunteers from the Nashville Rescue Mission also lent a hand. The annual event helps raise money and awareness for the Nashville Rescue Mission, which assists in feeding the hungry throughout Nashville. The turkeys will help provide the Mission’s Thanksgiving dinner. “I think I’ve been to every one of these,” Darryl noted. “It was a great idea to start with and now they’ve made it even more meaningful to the community.” Donations of turkey, clothing and cash were collected throughout the day. “It was a great day and great to see so many people participate in an event that helps those less fortunate in Nashville,” Tracy said. “It is because of them, thousands will be fed on this holiday.”

I never tried frying one of those suckers. Tracy leave it to Southern Boys to do it right. That is really neat when the entire community plus churches get involved to feed the hungry and help out the fellow man. That is really neat hope you can fun and lifted many a person's spirit. God Bless you guys.

Tracy, your truly giving heart and open support to those in need inspires all of us. Having a sensational voice and a vocal style that can bring goose bumps or tears is the icing on the cake...(or should I say beefcake?) LYL
