Shania Announces Split From Husband

Shania Twain and her husband, producer Robert John “Mutt” Lange, are separating after 14 years of marriage.

A representative for the singer tells People magazine, “This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time.” Shania, 42, and 59-year-old Lange married Dec. 28, 1993. They have one child together, son Eja, who turns 7 in August. Mutt produced Shania’s multiplatinum albums The Woman in Me, Come On Over and Up!
