TIM McGRAW & KENNY CHESNEY -- INNOCENT
The verdict is in -- the jury hearing the Tim McGraw/Mark Russo/Kenny Chesney case found them innocent of all charges.
After the verdict, McGraw said, "I had complete faith in the justice system
and am pleased with the verdict that was rendered. I want to thank my fans
for their support and I look forward to moving on."
Kenny Chesney was also relieved, saying, "We've been waiting 11 months for the
trial so that we could state our case and the truth be heard. We are thrilled! I would like to thank the people of Buffalo for their support and patience during this long and highly-publicized ordeal. And to my fans, thank you for your belief. We're glad this is over."
McGraw's wife, Faith Hill was by her husband's side at the time of the verdict, rushing to New York from Hawaii where she sang the National Anthem for the premiere of the film "Pearl Harbor."
