Dolly Postpones Tour
Dolly Parton has announced that she is postponing her upcoming Backwoods Barbie tour after doctors ordered her to rest to recover from a back problem.
The tour was scheduled to kick off in February, but will be delayed about six–to–eight weeks while Dolly rests.
Tickets for the original dates will be honored. "I know I have been breaking my back and bending over backwards
trying to get my new Backwoods Barbie CD and world tour together," Dolly joked in a statement, "but I didn't mean
to hurt myself doing it. But hey, you try wagging these puppies around for a while and see if you don't have back
problems." Dolly added, "Seriously, though, the doctors said I will be as good as new in a few weeks, and I can't
wait to get back out there." Dolly's Backwoods Barbie CD is slated for release Feb. 26.
