Neal McCoy Receives Highest Masonic Honor

Neal McCoy was presented with the W.B. and Brandon Carrell Humanitarian Award during the 2007 annual meeting of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Texas, Dec. 6--the highest honor given to a non-Mason.

The award is given to non-Masons who have significantly contributed to humanitarian causes, on behalf of more than 100,000 Texas Masons. Past recipients have included First Lady Laura Bush and legendary Dallas Cowboys football coach Tom Landry. Neal was honored for his East Texas Angel Network, founded in 1995 by Neal and wife Melinda, a foundation established to enhance the lives of families in East Texas whose children may be suffering from serious illnesses. The foundation has raised more than $4.5 million since its inception.
