KEITH’S CD FEATURES KENNY’S GIRLFRIEND

Keith Urban’s new CD, Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing, includes a song featuring spoken vocals by Kenny Chesney’s girlfriend.

The song is “Tu Compañia,” Spanish for “your company.” Keith tells Neil Haislop’s Nashville IQ, “The song is about loving somebody’s company, and we tried English titles like ‘I Love Your Company’ and nothing seemed to work. So, I had this wacky idea to have this girl come in—as it turns out, Kenny Chesney’s girlfriend, Vanessa, who’s from Colombia—to come in and speak some sweet nothings in Spanish.” She later translated the words “your company” to Spanish, and the title was born.
