WHERE IS KENNY CHESNEY'S TROPHY?
Last month Kenny Chesney won the highly coveted CMA award for Entertainer of the Year. Yet where does he keep it? It's sitting on a closet floor in his house. It seems Kenny hasn't been home a lot lately and he just hasn't had time to figure out where to put it. Kenny's hero, Jimmy Buffett, suggested that Kenny display the award at a bar they both frequent in the islands. But no matter where he puts it, it's the recognition from his peers that matters most to Kenny. He's received congratulatory notes from George Strait and Loretta Lynn, and Dolly Parton even wrote him, apologizing for taking up too much time while opening the envelope, which resulted in Kenny's speech being cut short. "It was really neat," says Kenny of all the good wishes. "That's why winning is great-it means they were really pulling for you."
