KENNY LOVES HIS TUMMY
Kenny Chesney is rather fond of his six-pack - and we don't mean beer. The taut and toned entertainer recently took off his shirt for a new book called "Precious," in which stars are asked to pick their favorite body part. Kenny chose his stomach, citing a parallel between the work necessary to make it in the music business and effort it takes to change your body. "You don't ever really think about what part of your body is worth the most to you," said Kenny. "I realized how important my inner core and the strength that comes from there is to me, to what I do, even to how I feel." Kenny added that doing the shoot made him look at himself in a whole new way. "I do look in the mirror in the mornings and I still see places on me that I can improve," he told X Radio Networks. "But I am very proud of what I've been able to accomplish. I mean, I've taken my percent body fat from 17 to almost 10, but I've just done it for me. You know, people are gonna say, well, he did it 'cause he wants to sell more records,' - I just did it for me because I've always wanted to have a six pack, I've always wanted to get my body percent fat under 10 - I mean, even in high school I didn't have that. So yeah, I mean when I look in the mirror I go, 'Yeah, all right.'" Proceeds from "Precious" will benefit the Starlight Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of seriously ill children and their families.
