Bluegrass mandolin virtuoso Sam Bush received a lifetime achievement award from the Americana Music Association at its annual Awards & Honors ceremony in September, so it’s fitting that Circles Around Me finds him taking stock of a long and rich career that would appear to still have a long way to go.
