Peter Cooper is now perhaps best known to country fans as the Nashville journalist who received an extended cursing-out from Toby Keith after the Academy of Country Music Awards last month over a news item he had written a couple of days before. You Don’t Have to Like Them Both finds him collaborating with Last Train Home frontman (and fellow journalist-turned-artist) Eric Brace on a warmhearted romp combining sharp originals and smartly picked covers.
