Straight to Hell

**
The son of Hank Williams Jr. apparently takes lots of drugs, drinks gallons of liquor and believes, as he sings in “Dick in Dixie,” that pop-country really sucks—and he won’t let you forget it. The intake of illicit substances and the sorry state of modern country music are pretty much all Hank III seems to be concerned about, and the repetition soon grows tiresome. This self-proclaimed “Crazed Country Rebel” is a promising talent and Straight to Hell is musically rousing, but it’s a shame that he doesn’t seem to have more to say.
