Southern Sessions

Sean-Hogan.jpg

When Sean Hogan titled his most recent album Southern Sessions, he wasn’t kidding—for this native Canadian, writing and recording in Nashville meant going mighty far down south indeed. The resulting album combines the wide-open-spaces clarity of much country music from the Great White North with the accessibility of contemporary Music City. Southern Sessions actually saw release two years ago in Sean’s home country, where he has been racking up awards and honors for more than a dozen years. Now that it’s available stateside (with two added bonus tracks), perhaps that recognition will finally spread a little further.
