While the 1996 box set Portraits ably summed up Emmylou’s hits, this four-disc sequel demonstrates the depth and consistency of her artistry by spotlighting lesser-known album cuts, tribute-CD contributions, unreleased songs and other deserving ephemera. Emmylou devotees will find much here to treasure.
