Given the uncertain future of the best-of album, Collin Raye’s Selected Hits offers a different angle on the formula—it’s an EP featuring two new songs and four live tracks for around six bucks (available only at Wal-Mart stores). The in-concert cuts are all outstanding, but the new studio tracks are overbearingly sappy ballads that at least showcase Collin’s never-better voice.
