Right On Time

Brad Cotter has seen some ups and downs over the last few years, to say the least. He was picked as the winner of TV’s Nashville Star competition in 2004, and released his debut album, Patient Man, the same year—only to lose his record deal when the album’s sales didn’t live up to expectations. Five years later, his long-awaited second album showcases his strengths far better than his first. Right on Time is a low-key charmer whose consistency comes in part from Brad himself and in part from the fact that most of the songs are from the catalog of Steve Bogard, the sharp songwriter who co-produced both this album and Patient Man.
