Pure BS: Deluxe Edition

Blake’s elegant rethinking of pop star Michael Bublé’s “Home,” the prime attraction for this expanded version of last year’s Pure BS, is inarguably lovely. Then again, the other two new tracks appended to the album for this “Deluxe Edition” are solid but not absolute must-haves—and hey, “Home” is available for purchase individually as a digital download. The album itself retains its original charms, and this will without a doubt be the preferred version for first-time buyers. But all but the most dedicated fans who own the album in its earlier form will probably be satisfied with the BS they already have.
