NOW That’s What I Call Country Volume 2

The NOW That’s What I Call Music! series has been documenting the state of pop music in the U.S. since 1998 (since 1983 in the U.K.), and this spinoff does pretty much the same for contemporary country. With three major labels combining their rosters in an unusual display of cooperation, most of the genre’s heavy hitters are represented: George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift are all on hand, among many others, and the CD unlocks five bonus downloads from newer acts like Emily West and Caitlin & Will.
