This new version of the hit 2005 Johnny Cash biopic restores 17 minutes that had been cut from the version released to theaters. The additions don’t fundamentally change the movie, mostly adding some extra texture to previously existing scenes and making the pace a little more leisurely. The second disc includes a handful of new bonus features, highlighted by several engaging yet snappy documentary items on the movie and the man.
