The brainchild of producer, songwriter, musician and Emmylou Harris band member Phil Madeira, this album brings together a diverse lineup of artists for a collection that promotes the message that God has more to do with love than religion.

The disc begins with a bare-bones, haunting rendering of “From This Valley” by Grammy darlings The Civil Wars; the a cappella harmonies in the bridge are exquisite. “I Believe in You” by Buddy Miller, a songwriter who has penned hits for Garth Brooks and Lee Ann Womack, combines subtle guitar work with lyrics of unwavering faith. The robust voice of Dan Tyminski (of Alison Krauss & Union Station fame) sounds grittier and more soulful than ever amid polished blues guitar riffs on “Light of Your Love.” On “I Didn’t Know It Was You,” Emmylou’s graceful voice softly conveys the tale of people who search for various treasures to heal inner turmoil, only to find their quest was for love itself.
