Live at the Continental Club: The Austin Experience

Moviegoers heard Junior this summer narrating the big-screen version of The Dukes of Hazzard, but anyone thinking his distinctively deep voice is all this Texas stalwart has going for him should take a listen to this blazing live set, recorded in April. Junior's stinging, shredding runs on his trademark "guit-steel"—a hybrid of electric and steel guitars—speak louder than words. Of course, that voice comes in handy when Junior delivers the dry, droll likes of "My Wife Thinks You're Dead" and "Highway Patrol."
