The Little Willies

Jazz-pop superstar Norah Jones has never been shy about her country influences, but with this side project she finally leaps into the genre head first. Taking their name and inspiration from the singer's hero, Willie Nelson, the Willies have grown from an excuse to play Americana cover tunes to a full-blown band with a delightful debut album to its credit. Norah splits lead vocal duties with guitarist Richard Julian, and together the two tear into this set of country classics (including a couple penned by big Willie, of course) and spry originals with unabashed joy.
