Legendary Performances

This DVD compilation produced by the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum offers up 15 live TV clips spanning 15 years and demonstrates that even in the relative stuffiness of a television studio, the Hag can only be his irascible self. Lending context to the outstanding performances are a 1981 interview, footage of Merle’s 1994 Hall of Fame induction (his acceptance speech is a hoot) and insightful liner notes from former CW staffer Michael McCall.
