Keep on the Sunny Side: Her Life in Music

Few lives were as rich with music as the one June Carter Cash led. Raised in the Carter Family and married more than 30 years to Johnny Cash, June made music herself for over 60 years. Sadly, the first anthology of her considerable body of work was only released posthumously, but this amazing two-disc retrospective arrives better late than never.

Beginning with June at age 10 warbling "Oh! Susannah" and ending with an emotionally devastating duet with Johnny on the title track, Keep on the Sunny Side is just as much a survey of the history of country music as it is an exploration of a life well lived.
