Greatest Hits makes a good case for Trace's consistency through his first seven years in the game, while the current hit "Then They Do" speaks to his deepening maturity. But best among these 13 tracks is 1997's No. 1 "(This Ain't No) Thinkin' Thing," still a slinky marvel.
