Flynnville Train

Toby Keith signed Indiana quintet Flynnville Train to his Show Dog Nashville label, and it’s easy to see how these lovably greasy, grimy grooves might have attracted his attention. What separates Flynnville Train from the kajillion other bands working the Southern-rock-country-crossover beat is a winning lyrical mix of frivolity and philosophy. The production (by the band, David Barrick and Kentucky Headhunter Richard Young) keeps everything on the rails.
