Certainly, her 10th solo album is Music City through and through - tunes from the cream of the city's songwriting community, recorded there with Alison Krauss Dobro player Jerry Douglas producing.

Don't I Know's carefully chosen songs address middle age and fears of death and loneliness - but usually a touch of uplift enters before things get too gloomy. It's all gorgeously sung and masterfully played, even if the earnest philosophizing sometimes gets wearying.
