Circles Around Me

Bluegrass mandolin virtuoso Sam Bush received a lifetime achievement award from the Americana Music Association at its annual Awards & Honors ceremony in September, so it’s fitting that Circles Around Me finds him taking stock of a long and rich career that would appear to still have a long way to go. Guests like Jerry Douglas and Edgar Meyer turn up to sing and play, while songwriting contributions from Guy Clark, Jeff Black, John Cowan and others further emphasize the spirit of collaboration that has always characterized Sam’s work.
