Best of the Flatt & Scruggs TV Show, Vol.1 and Vol. 2

These fast-paced early-’60s episodes of the legendary bluegrass duo’s classic TV show zip by, as Lester and Earl lead their ace band through then-current hits, traditional favorites, gospel numbers and comedy bits. It’s Earl who steals the show, firing off lightning banjo runs with a knowing grin while remaining enigmatically silent. These two separately sold DVDs should be nabbed by all true bluegrass buffs.
