BB&G Platinum by Bellamy Brothers & Gölä

At a record executive’s suggestion, the Bellamy Brothers teamed up with Swiss rock artist Gölä in 2010 for BB&G: The Greatest Hits Sessions, which spent several weeks atop the Swiss music charts and earned double-platinum status in that country.

Now, the CD has been repackaged and made available stateside, accompanied by a 30-minute documentary DVD. David and Howard Bellamy recorded fresh versions of their hits, including “Redneck Girl,” “I Need More of You” and “Kids of the Baby Boom,” for the project, infusing each with Gölä’s distinctive rock vibe. David penned “Switzerland” specifically for the album, and they updated the Swiss classic “Swan,” which is highlighted in the documentary.

The album capitalizes on the longtime international touring success of the duo and proves to be a worthy addition to any devoted Bellamy fan’s collection.
