Reba’s No. 1 With Duets

Reba McEntire’s just-released CD, Reba Duets, debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart, marking a new career milestone for the country superstar.

Reba tops this chart, which covers all genres of music, for the first time in her career. Reba Duets, featuring performances by Faith Hill, pop star Kelly Clarkson, Kenny Chesney and other stars, sold nearly 300,000 copies its first week. “I’ve been in this business 31 years,” Reba told Nashville’s daily newspaper The Tennessean. “For it to be debuting bigger than anything I thought possible is very overwhelming.” Eight of Reba’s previous albums have hit No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
