The CMA Awards are still weeks away, but that doesn’t mean Carrie Underwood can’t accept an award of another kind.
On Oct. 22 in New York, Carrie was given the 2013 Artist Achievement Award at the T.J. Martell Foundation's 38th Annual Honors Gala. She was presented with her award by the CEO of her record label, Doug Morris of Sony Music, but was also honored to have the governor of her home state of Oklahoma, Mary Fallin, attending in support. The evening’s festivities also included performances from Sting and Bryan Adams.
Congratulations, Carrie! Well-deserved!
