“Opry Goes Pink” has become an annual and honored event, when the light on the signature barn backdrop at the Grand Ole Opry is turned pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And this year, on Oct. 22, LeAnn Rimes has the privilege of flipping the light switch.
The special evening will include several activities to recognize breast cancer survivors along with performances from LeAnn, Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan, Natalie Grant and the Opry debut of American Idol’s Mandisa.
Starting today, $5 from each ticket purchased for the 7 p.m. show will be donated to Women Rock for the Cure , an organization supporting young women facing breast cancer.
