Carrie Underwood talks about reuniting with loved ones—in this life or the next—in her song "See You Again."
In making the new video for the song , Carrie didn't choose one story, but snippets of many, including tributes to victims of the Sandy Hook school shootings and the Oklahoma tornadoes.
And Carrie stayed away from using only one story line for a reason—so you could insert your own.
"We didn’t want it to be one specific story," Carrie tells reporters.
"Those are always the best songs, the best movies, the best things when people kind of fill in the gaps themselves, and it can mean something different to each person that hears it."
So far, fans have been doing just that.
"I’ve been hearing the most amazing stories on what it means to different people, and it means different things."
