Now the Man in Black can mail your letter. The U.S. Postal Service unveiled the latest stamp in its Music Icon series this week in Nashville: a stunning portrait of Johnny Cash.
In a musical ceremony at the famed Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday (June 5), Johnny's son, John Carter Cash, welcomed an all-star roster of country artists to honor his dad in song. Among them: Randy Travis, Marty Stuart, Jamey Johnson and even actor-singer John Schneider, who playfully tackled “A Boy Named Sue.”
Or should that be “A Boy Named Glue”?
Check out this short video of the proceedings and comments on the stamp from the U.S. Postal Service and John Carter Cash.
