One reason we flock to certain acts is that they're constantly reinventing themselves and trying new approaches. And with fan favorite Lady Antebellum, it definitely appears that the trio wants to shake things up a bit with their upcoming new album, Golden, set to hit stores May 7.
Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood were inspired by their recent Own the Night World Tour when creating the sonic atmosphere for the new album. "We were just kind of in that live-show mind-set for this album," Dave notes in a release about the album. "We had that perspective of being on tour and having seen what translates in an arena."
Hillary adds that the group "embraced risk" when putting the new album together. "When you are pushing yourself to not go back to the same well, you're gonna come up with something different," she says. "And that's what happened on this album."
Golden features Lady A's current smash hit, "Downtown."
