Little Big Town has its fifth Grammy nomination this year, but it's still a big deal to the little band that could. And visiting the Los Angeles always promises priceless moments for the foursome, who are in town for Sunday's (Feb. 10) 55th Annual Grammy Awards.
"We’ve been coming for so many years, since we were a band, and we have so many of our favorite spots that are priceless to us and things that we do almost every time we’re out here," said Kimberly, sharing a "priceless" Grammy memory as part of MasterCard's Priceless L.A. promotion. "When we step off the plane we’re always starving from that long flight so we hit the In-N-Out Burger every time. One time we even went to the In-N-Out Burger after the Grammys in our full garb, gowns and heels. We took the limo to the In-N-Out Burger."
After winning Vocal Group of the Year and Single of the Year for "Pontoon" at last year's Country Music Association Awards, Karen is hoping that this year's Grammy Awards provides them with another priceless moment. "CMA night, I can just think about it and it makes me smile every time," she recalls. "What a career-defining moment that was for us. Getting up there and seeing everyone smile back at us and just that connection with the crowd, much less getting the award, but really it was the overwhelming love from Nashville that we felt when we got up there. So, that was pretty dang priceless. And we sure would like to feel that priceless feeling on Sunday."
Good luck to Little Big Town, who are nominated in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for "Pontoon," and all of country music's amazing nominees!
