You might recall that Jake's Cinco de Mayo celebration ended with him in handcuffs outside a Steak 'n Shake.
And it's all because he thought he'd be funny and put on an old-man mask that he just so happened to have on his tour bus.
But, Jake tells Chicago radio station US 99.5 , "I didn't know there was a law that you're not allowed to go into a public establishment with a mask on."
Jake said the police were nice about it.
"They're great," he said. "It was like a huge misunderstanding. I'm a lover, dude. I'm not trying to create any problems. But I do like to have a good time. That's how I roll."
Jake was rolling with his family—parents, siblings, nieces and nephews—when they stopped the tour bus at the fast food restaurant. That's when Jake came up with the idea of whipping out the old-man mask.
"I did nothing actually. But I had a really good time! That's all that really matters," he said.
