Faith Hill will be online periodically Tuesday (Feb. 7) on Self magazine's Facebook page , answering fan questions.
The faithful have already peppered the singer with glowing comments about her new single, "Come Home," and questions about her upcoming album, her diet and fitness regimen and international touring plans.
Faith, who took a break from the Facebook chat to complete a workout, says of her fitness regimen, "Some days it's harder to get myself moving than others but it has such a positive impact on my day. I have more energy throughout the day and feel better overall. I also try to drink 70-90 ounces of water a day. It is so good for you, inside and out. I'm off to [work out] and I'll be back in a bit."
The singer also says she's not strict on dieting. "A few of you have asked about my diet or if I diet. I don't diet but I do watch what I eat. For lunch I usually have a greek salad with with grilled chicken. I love salads for lunch. It's light, delicious and good for you. I vary the protein and sometimes use salmon instead of chicken." Her occasional indulgence? Sweet tea.
Of course, the family's two furry friends keep them busy. "Palio & Sienna are our dogs and they just had puppies in November," Faith says. "They are so adorable."
The singer has said before that balancing motherhood, music, marriage and everything that goes with those responsibilities can be a challenge, but one she takes seriously, and fans asked how the singer keeps it all in balance. "There have been a couple of posts about balance. I'm a mother, wife, artist, etc. and it is not always easy to balance everything," says Faith. "Our rule at home is family first. Anything that Tim or I do works around what our kids are doing. That always comes first. Some days are better balanced than others but like most of you all, we do the best that we can."
