Sugarland faces its biggest lawsuit yet over the Aug. 13 Indiana State Fair accident that killed seven and injured dozens of others before the duo's concert that day, the AP reports .
The suit was filed by 44 victims and the families of four fans who died when winds blew over staging and scaffolding onto the crowd.
A lawyer in the case, Mario Massillamany, says Sugarland had the final say as to whether to cancel the show because of bad weather, according to the show contract, the AP reports.
The suit, which includes 20 law firms across three states, alleges breach of reasonable care for victims.
No comment yet from Sugarland's publicists.
