It's Nashville's version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Alan Jackson and Kix Brooks of Brooks & Dunn are the latest country artists to be chosen to get stars on the Music City Walk of Fame. No word on why Ronnie Dunn didn't make the cut.
Music City does have stars outside the country genre, too, so when Alan and Kix get inducted Nov. 6 (and yes, they will be there), they'll be joined by gospel/TV personality Dr. Bobby Jones and famous fashion designer Manuel, who often is credited with putting Johnny Cash in black.
Other country stars alread on the five-year-old Walk of Fame include Keith Urban (who brought Nicole Kidman along to his induction last year), Rascal Flatts, Trace Adkins, Josh Turner, Reba McEntire, Charlie Daniels, Dolly Parton, Steve Wariner, Wynonna, Little Jimmy Dickens, Kris Kristofferson, Martina McBride and Randy Travis.
