This five-piece band is the latest musical export from Stillwater, Okla., joining Cross Canadian Ragweed and Garth Brooks. Still, the crunchy guitar licks of “WWIII” have more in common with most rock bands than with Garth. “5 More Minutes,” reminiscent of Pat Green’s “Wave on Wave,” is one of the better tracks, thanks to lead singer Steve Rice’s rugged vocals. On the moody “Just Get Going,” No Justice continues straddling the line between country and rock. Producer Dexter Green (Collective Soul) smoothes out the band’s edges for the ballad “Gone Ain’t Far Enough,” and the acoustic-blues vibe of “Coming up the River” (with guest vocals by Rebecca Lynn Howard) and the grungy “Love Song” make the second half of the album more pleasing than the first.
