New Orleans' House of Blues was the location of Trisha Yearwood's kickoff for her "Inside Out" summer tour. Recently she answered fan questions during a Yahoo! chat.
One fan asked the singer, who just commemorated her 10th year as a recording star, how she maintains her cool on stage when she performs. Trisha admitted, "I always am a little nervous, but that generally goes away by the second song. All the things I worry about seem to disappear when you get in front of a crowd."
The singer also revealed that she prefers smaller venues because she feels they allow her to connect with her audience on a more personal level than stadium events.
"I probably talk so much during my shows because I want fans to leave feeling like they got to know me better," said Yearwood.
Trisha also answered some bizarre questions posed by her fans including "If you were stranded on a desert island with your band and were out of food, which member would you eat first?" The fun-loving artist answered, "My first choice would probably be my guitar player Johnny Garcia. He's Tex-Mex, so he would be spicy!"
